Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

Great tour
Rachelle took my wife and me on a great walking tour of the Marais for pasty tasting. She had carefully curated the four patisseries and was able to offer suggestions. The pastries were all delicious. I always thought that macaroons were grossly overrated but her recommendation of a yuzu flavored one changed my mind. The tour of Le Marais was also interesting and we learned a lot. We now know where to go for falafel and some beautiful spots to sit and eat a snack.

Delicious in every way
Rachelle was a fabulous guide for this tour. She led us through the beautiful Le Marais district and its sweet surprises, making sure we had time to sit down and eat in delightful obvious and “hidden” public gardens. Rachelle’s English is impeccable and we learned a lot about the sights in Le Marais.

Rachelle is a lovely person and it was an interesting tour and she really was lovely to our boys group of teenagers – and the sweets were really great. Thanks for this really special birthday tour!
Great way to see the real Paris!
Rachelle was super! Charming, kind and knowledgeableable. It’s a super way to see a neighbourhood and try cafes we never would have found let alone visited. I would definitely recommend it and earlier in your trip as she gives you ideas of sites/places worth seeing.
