Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

No Title
Rachelle met us with a warm, welcoming hello. She took us to three beautiful pastry shops in the Le Marcais neighborhood. Each shop was different and we enjoyed our tastings at a park close by. Rachelle gave us the history of the pastries as well as local Parisian history. It was an enjoyable experience!
Rachelle rocks!
We did the Pastry tour with Rachelle. She is a nice welcoming perdón and gave us a great tour to some real pastry gems. With every stop, she made sure we would go to a nice place to eat the delicious pastries, like little cute hidden parks. Thank you Rachelle – you rock!
Fantastic tour and amazing with kids!
Rachelle is just a fantastic local tour guide. Despite us being 30 minutes late (never a dull moment with young children), Rachelle was patient and took over 2 hours to show us the hidden areas of Le Marais. We loved the unique shops she brought us to! She also catered to our young children and brought them to enjoy the treats at local playgrounds. Finally, she showed us an amazing local coffee shop. A highlight of our trip thus far!
Great experience with Rachelle
Rachelle was a great guide to show me around Paris with my mother, who was visiting from the US and seeing Paris (and France) for the first time. Our pastry tour was made better with Rachelle’s flexibility to adapt to both my mother’s and my preferences, such as popping into a clothing shop that caught my mother’s eye, and helping me choose teas to send back home – even though both had nothing to do with the pastry-focused itinerary she had planned. Our few hours with Rachelle were a great introduction to Paris on our first day there – thanks Rachelle!
