Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

Our morning in Paris
Rachelle was an amazing guide and the introduction tour she took me on was a real insight into a city she so obviously loves. She made me feel comfortable right away. Her knowledge of her chosen city was exceptional. I learnt so much about the history, architecture, people, cafes, parks and traditions in Paris. The time I spent with her gave me the confidence to walk everywhere around Paris myself as an elderly female traveling alone. Great time..
Rachelle was a wonderful host and really engaged the three kids in our group as we walked through the local market. Tastings were delicious and she was informative and friendly. It was a great contrast to the bigger group tours you do as a tourist when traveling – just your group, a host and a casual stroll through a Paris neighborhood.
Wonderful tour!
We had a great time with Rachelle showing us around Bastille neighborhood! She shared interesting facts and was absolutely terrific with our 4 and 7 year olds doing a scavenger hunt and engaging them in conversation. They want to know when we will see her again! Yummy food, fun conversation. Highly recommend Rachelle!
Amazing pastry tour!!!
My aunt and I had so much fun with Rachelle! We not only got to eat a multitude of different kinds of pastries, but we also got to hear some of the history of the pastries and where they originated. Rachelle was easy-going and we had great conversation along the way! I would definitely recommend Rachelle and the pastry tour to anyone in Paris. Your taste buds will not be disappointed!
Amazing and Passionate guide
I cannot say enough what a wonderful guide Rachelle is. We spent four amazing hours with her in the Le Marais. Her passion for Paris is palpable. She showed us places we would not have seen on our own. She introduced us to lovely shops and fantastic pastries. Spending time with Rachelle is like spending time with a friend. My 14 year old granddaughter loved her as well. She even gave us the name of an amazing restaurant that we ate at, as well as other places to visit. Do yourself a favor and book Rachelle as your guide.
