Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

Engaging and fantastic way to experience local side of Paris
Rachelle was wonderful host especially with our kids aged 7,9 and 11. She provided something of interest for all of s during the 2 hours (especially the wine bar for adults!). It was nice not to have to have our heads in a tourist book and let someone who lives in Paris show us around an area that we would not have been to otherwise.
Cutest tour guide ever!
Rachelle was great, giving us a look into the life of an actual Parisian. It was lovely to get to see the other side of Paris, a stop back from the touristy crowds you typically encounter. She is upbeat and fun, and great person to experience Paris with and to make you smile!
Super fun morning for kids and adults alike
My 3 kids (11,9 and 6) and I had an absolutely wonderful morning walking through Paris with Rachelle. The kids barely even noticed how much ground we were covering. Rachelle is great with kids and knew how to keep them engaged whilst still learning so much about Paris, its history, its architecture and culture. As we had already done a few main sights, Rachelle created an itinerary which showed us lots of the things we hadn’t yet covered. Rachelle also gave us lots of great tips about what to do afterwards. Highly highly recommend! Thanks Rachelle!
Fantastic tour with Rachelle
Rachelle is a friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating woman and we loved getting to know her and Paris during our pastry tour. She took care to listen to our questions make the day fun for everyone and fit in a small, special request for my mom. We learned so much about life in Paris through our interaction with her, it was valuable.
Perfect for Paris with Little Ones
Rachelle was AMAZING. I have a 5 year old daughter and a not-quite two year old daughter. Because I had been to Paris multiple times before, and fully intend to take the girls to Paris again when they’re older, I had no set agenda except to have them walk around Paris and hear stories and just immerse in French culture a little. Rachelle fit the bill perfectly! We scheduled her for two days, so we did a morning when we first got there and an afternoon later on, and it was great! My older daughter has been telling everybody all about the things we did (especially the ballet store). I would definitely recommend!
