Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

Excellent Experience!
My family just went on the market tour yesterday. Despite some rain, we had a great time trying new bites and touring a local market. Rachelle was an excellent guide and full of great suggestions and our kids loved her. We wouldn’t hesitate to tour with her again!

A wonderful tour
I came to Paris with my 11 year old daughter. It was our first time here. As we knew only little about Paris, we booked a tour with Rachelle. We wanted to see the city as locals do, not just visit the very famous places. And we did. Rachelle is such a lovely person! Very kind, fun, has a lot of knowledge about the city and about France, about the history. She took us to locals favorite boulangeries and patisseries and so on. Also was flexible if we saw something interesting along the way, she even encouraged us to step inside to all the places we wished to. So no strict plan about where to go and what to see exactly. And she got us suddenly to notice and can appreciate more the history of those impressive buildings and the stories they are telling. We had a wonderful time and it was money very well spent. Fun, Intimate + Delicious
Book Rachelle!!! No need to check out those crowded, highly expensive food tours – the tour with Rachelle was perfection! It’s just your crew and her.:) Rachelle is FULL of knowledge, but not boring stuff that she memorized from a book, she knows the ins and outs of local Parisian life. On the family tour we visited markets, tried all kinds of delicious food(and wine for the parents :)). Our 7 year old daughter LOVED her time on this tour. Thank you Rachelle for an amazing day!
Excellent Tour and Guide
Rachelle was an excellent guide and we very much enjoyed the tour. She was very knowledgable and kind. Her English was impeccable. This was the perfect tour for our first full day in Paris, it really helped us get oriented tot the city. It was cool to get so many insider secrets from a local. Rachelle knows several historic places and great views we would have never found on our own. I highly recommend Rachelle as a tour guide.
