Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

Great food tour of hidden gems with Rachelle
I recently took the Paris family food tour with Rachelle, together with my 13 year old daughter. We had a great time – Rachelle made sure to really engage with my daughter and shared lots of interesting facts about the history of the area as well as the places we visited. We toured (and sampled produce from) the food market, a chocolate shop, a bakery, an indoor market, a beautiful wine bar and a patisserie before stopping in the park to sample some of our purchases. We both had a great time and discovered places we both would never have found on our own. One of the highlights of our stay in Paris. it was like being shown by an old friend! definitely recommend.

What a great tour! She led it so well we thought it took more than the 2 hours allotted. Rachelle was kind and helpful and gave us recommendations we used for the rest of our time in Paris. Since she has lived in Paris for a while she knows the owners of bakeries we went into. They even gave her free pastries! Dont think twice, book with Rachelle!
Family friendly, patient, fun and engaging
We really enjoyed our walking tour with Rachelle. She was patient, showed us the hidden streets. Parks and finer side of Paris. We enjoyed it immensely and would recommend it.
Our perfect afternoon
Wow! What a fun experience this was! My sister went to culinary school for pastries and we thought it would be fun to try the best in the world! Rachelle did not let us down! She was very informative on where to get the best and most enjoyable treats. As we sat in lovely gardens she had us take a mental note if every first bite of goodness while she would tell the history of the pastries and of the surrounding area. She also gave some great recommendations on what to do the rest of or time in this wonderful city. We LOVED everything about this experience and highly recommend Rachelle as she is knowledgeable, friendly, and excited to share these experiences with newcomers.
