Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

MUST DO as soon as you arrive in Paris
Rachelle was an awesome guide to help our introduction to Paris. She took us to around beautiful neighborhoods to explore the architecture and history and made recommendations for awesome restaurants/cafes (saved me time from researching on Tripadvisor)! A mother herself, she was able to recommend baby friendly restaurants that would accommodate our 8 month old son. She was very personable and knowledgeable about Paris history, it made the tour very relaxing and interesting!I totally recommend Rachelle if you just landed in Paris and are overwhelmed with places to see and to do, she offers a tasting of Paris culture to start your vacation!
A sweet tour
It was a rainy day but this didn’t deter Rachelle from taking us around all the delicious pastry places in the Marais area. She know where to go. The next day we tried to go back to the eclair genie but it was closed! I would recommend Rachelle if you enjoy eating sweet things. I would have loved a cup of coffee and more time to sit and enjoy each delectable treat. Bon apetite!
Family fun in Paris
Our family of five had a wonderful morning with Rachelle! She is a gem. We all enjoyed the garden stroll & farmers market walk, loved all of the samplings of food & drink, and appreciated the Paris restaurants tips too! Highly recommend.
