Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

Met onze kids van 8 en 12 hebben wij de Parijs intro geprobeerd. In net even van de gebaande paden te gaan en te gaan waar de locals komen. Helaas zat het weer niet mee en waren de parken gesloten. Desalniettemin hebben we ons uitstekend vermaakt. Rachelle was uiterst vriendelijk, spontaan en gezellig! Ze heeft ook de kids goed weten te vermaken, wat zeker bij de jongste niet altijd even makkelijk is. Ondanks het slechte weer hebben we toch leuke en unieke stukjes Parijs kunnen ontdekken.
Just perfect for our wide age range!
It seemed like a tall order to try to find a Paris experience that not only exposed us to a new and interesting area but also worked for me, my mom, and my daughter (ages 7 and 13) but this tour and our time with Rachelle was perfect! Rachelle took us on a fantastic tour that kept all of us engaged and we felt like we really got to see a piece of Paris that we otherwise would never have found. She managed to convince my girls to try tapenade, took us around beautiful local market to sample cheeses, pastries, fresh bread and chocolates and we especially loved the little wine bar! My youngest wants to return to Paris just to take more tours with Rachelle. Thank you!
Excellent walking tour with a passionate local
We were very pleased to take the intro to Paris with Rachelle. She was very communicative before meeting and made for a great guide to the local Parisian day to day life. She was great with keeping the kids involved with pop quizzes and taking us to kid friendly locations. I recommend Rachelle to anyone looking for good insights to local culture and passionate about her city.
Great tour with Rachelle
Our family had a great tour with Rachelle. We really enjoyed begin in a local market on a busy Sunday, stopping in shops along with locals. Our children (6 and 8) loved the food samples and Rachelle did a great job keeping them entertained and the center of attention. Thanks for a great tour!
Great food tour for families
We had a great tour with Rachelle. She was very energetic, knowledgeable and kind. She took us a chocolate shop,market and a wine shop. We tried different items. She also had a scavenger hunt for the kids that they enjoyed. The kids loved her and didn’t want her to leave when the tour was over! I highly recommend this food tour for families!
