Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

Great experience!! Highly recommend!
Rachelle was so incredible sweet and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience! The places she took us to were very well thought out and super yummy. After a glass (or two:) ) of wine at the local wine bar, ending at the playground with the kids and their pastries was absolutely perfect. HIGHLY recommend, especially if you want to see a very beautiful area of Paris that you probably wouldn’t think about going to without a local tour guide to lead the way!
Great start into our Paris trip!
We really enjoyed the tour as Rachelle gave us a lot of very good insights into the city’s history. She is super nice and gave us already many recommendations during our tour and sent us some more restaurants after it. We definitely recommend the tour with Rachelle as it was the best start into Paris trip!
Nice start with Rachelle in our Paris week
We had a nice tour with Rachelle and enjoyed the tour through the Quartier Latin. We liked the walk through the streets where we have discovered together areas which might be normally not be found by tourists. Rachelle was a nice host, my two sons (13 and 16) also enjoyed our tour as well as my wife and me.
Perfect Paris experience!!
Wow! What a fantastic experience. Rachelle made our Paris city trip extra special! From developing a bespoke 3hr walking tour with patisserie stop offs to making it engaging for our three kids (aged 6, 9, and 11) Rachelle excelled. We all learnt so much walking the amazing streets of Paris and experiencing places we would never have thought to visit. Breaking the walking tour up to ensure the kids were engaged throughout (the excellent cakes, also helped!). I would 100% recommend Rachelle to meet you and maximise your experience in Paris. Her recommendations of restaurants, areas to visit, trips to take (River cruise at night etc) made our little family adventure special. I would definitely be contacting her again when we plan to visit Paris again.
Hidden gems of Marais
We had a good time with Rachelle. She showed us the all the good places and hidden gems of Marais. Rachelle is very nice and knowledgeable. We would take a tour with her again.
