Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

Rachelle was a fantastic guide! She was very personable and energetic and I felt like we really connected with her and had a wonderful time. I can tell that she enjoys what she does and that she loves Paris. She talked about the history of the Marais district and showed us some beautiful spots to sit and enjoy our treats. The pastries were incredible! We booked three organized tours in Paris and this one was our favorite! I really liked how she connected with our nine-year old daughter. She made an effort to include her and got her thinking about Paris history in a really engaging way. I highly recommend Rachelle for this tour and I expect that she would be great at any Paris tour! De tour door de wijk Le Marais in Parijs was erg leuk. Rachelle heeft ons erg prettig rondgeleid en ging flexibel om met onze wensen.
Lovely guide tour
We experienced such a lovely guide tour with Rachelle. She involved the children in the story about Parisian history in a fun way. This in combination with an insight into the life of a local was great. She also showed us the nice bakeries and restaurants, we would highly recommend!
Paris with Rachelle
We just spend a sunny Easter weekend in Paris and had a wonderful stroll through Paris. We skipped all the great monuments but went through Le Marais, Cartier Latin, ile de la cité, Jardin du Luxembourg instead – this on our request. Rachelle was open, friendly, enthusiastic and very flexible to adept the tour to our wishes. We had a great morning.
