Hi to all my future Paris visitors!
My name is Rachelle originally from the Netherlands but loving paris for 7 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!)
When I moved here, I didn’t know anything about this city or language. So yes I walked my feet blue to discover the beautiful Paris, think about all the little streets, hidden passages, all the small and bigger parks, quart yards, cafe’s, boulevards. You call it, I did it.
I was exhausted but I was in love with Paris so no complaining there!
Then I thought what if I share my passion for Paris & stories with people who don’t know Paris yet? (besides the monuments, that you can easily find by yourself)
I want to show you the real local Paris, and what comes with visiting new places? Trying the local food of course! It’s all about planning, researching and voilà!
Last but definitly not least, let’s not forget the curious little ones!
As a mommy myself, I know it is hard to keep them entertained, so I created some walks that are super fun and adventurous, we can even include some treasure hunts too!

Fantastic Pastry Tour for the whole family
We had a fantastic Pastry Tour throughout the Marais district with Rachelle, our local guide. We got to try a variety of different pastries from small local bakeries which we would never have found without Rachelle. She did a great job in explaining everything, adjusted the tour very well to our needs as a family with (younger) children and gave us many wonderful insights into the Marais district in general and its wonderful pastry shops in particular. Almost needless to say that Rachelle is absolutely fluent in English. Even after the toor has ended, Rachelle sent us a few shop and restaurant recommendations in the Marais, so that we eventually spent the entire day in the area. Thank you very much again, Rachelle, for this wonderful experience.
Super leuke tour door Le Marais!
Wij hadden op maandagochtend een leuke tour door de Marais met Rachelle. Onze dochter van bijna 16 vond het ook erg leuk. Rachelle is een leuke spontane meid. Ze heeft ons heerlijke gebakjes laten proeven, mooie rustige tuinen laten zien, hele leuke boetiekjes en nog tips voor musea gegeven. Informatie gekregen over de Marais zelf en de geschiedenis ervan. Kortom een aanrader. Wij zijn woensdag zelf nog teruggegaan om wat winkels te bezoeken en van de mooie plekjes te genieten. Bij ons volgende bezoek aan Parijs boeken we zeker een andere tour bij haar.
Amazing tastings, amazing guide!
Rachelle was absolutely amazing being me and my husband’s guide through Le Marais. Not only were we able to taste incredible delicacies from patisseries, we learned so much about Paris and its history. Could not recommend Rachelle more!!! Definitely book her for this tour or any others!
Fantastic tour!
Rachelle was amazing! My daughter and I learned a lot on the tour, history of the area, sub areas within Le Marais, etc., and Rachelle brought us to fabulous pastry shops. She gave us recommendations near the place where we stayed for dinner and more sight seeing. I definitely recommend doing this tour with Rachelle. She’s fantastic and you’ll feel like you have a friend in Paris!
